Thanks to everyone who came with their pugs and other dogs, a huge thank you to ALL the volunteers, thanks to all the sponsors, medias, dog stores, and other organizations who generously donated to make this first PUGSTOCK a unforgettable and memorable event.
Our next PUGSTOCK will be held November 1, 2009 at the same place, same time.

Our mission is to help pugs in need and, to the best of our ability, find them a "forever loving home" where they can rest their heads at night.
UNDER MY WING – Pug Rescue is a small but growing non-profit organization based in Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA & run entirely by volunteers who are dedicated to providing a bridge between a pug’s past life and its better future.
We rescue pugs and provide them medical care (including spaying and neutering), loving attention, comfort, balanced food, companionship, and eventually a loving forever home.
Our volunteers do not receive any compensation for their efforts. They all donate their time, effort, and skills for the love of pugs.
We don't have a building or formal business hours. We don't provide an animal shelter where people can drop by, choose a pug, and then take it home.
Nevertheless, what we do makes a difference.
Potential adopters are required to complete a comprehensive adoption application form, undergo a home visit, and agree to fairly strict conditions before being added to a waiting list. We want to be absolutely sure that a pug won't end up needing to find a new home again. We thank you for your patience, we will get back to you, we reply to ALL emails and return EVERY phone calls.
With your continued support, we will be able to continue our efforts. Without you, we would not be able to accomplish these goals and we thank every one of you for your help.
