We have had Louis for five months now and it has been a totally positive experience.  He bounces through each day with infectious enthousiasm, enchanting  everyone he meets.  He has totally rejuvenated our fourteen year old pug , Chewie, who follows him round all day , checking to see that Louis is not receiving too much attention!  Louis loves to play with pull toys and to chew on anything he can get hold of.  We quickly learned to put pencils (his favorite) out of the way and to provide him with lots of chew toys.  His favorite pastime is going on long country walks with his two new friends, Nuka - large Malamute and  Shandy- a medium sized hound.  At home, he loves to chase and be chased by Dusty, the cat. Despite his rather unsettled past, he has not one aggressive bone in his energetic little body.  We are hoping that he will have a long and happy life in our forever home! Henri came into our lives as any other foster--full of hope and wanting a forever home.  The bond formed with Henri was quick as he just seemed to soak up every bit of love.  After five months of him in our lives I just couldn't imagine life without him as he added so much to our home.  Henri has natural therapy dog instincts and, while he visits retirement homes, he's mostly his foster mom's therapy after a day of work and life's daily stresses.  We are completely in love with this boy and are committed to keeping him at a healthy weight the rest of his life. June 24, 2012 - Bonnie is on her way to her forever home.....where she will shae her lif with a nice male pug.  Congrats to the adoptive family.

Dinah is adjusting verywell to her new home! Her favourite toy is her KONG and her favourite thing todo is cuddle with my partner and I. She is getting along well with our threecats and has learned a few different commands. She has gotten a lot better onleash and loves to walk beside me on our walks. She has lots of energy andloves to run around the house while we’re home, but afterwards she loves tocuddle and sleep on or beside me. She has already had a few play dates with mysister’s pug and they always have a lot of fun together. While we are outside takinga walk she is always very friendly and polite when someone stops by to pet her,which happens often because she is so cute! We are so lucky that we were ableto bring this little girl into our family. She has made us so happy. Thank youso much Under My Wing Pug Rescue for making it possible for me to be with myadorable little Dinah. We love her so much!

Monty has made himself at home with Rosie and us.  It seems like we've had Monty forever but yet it has only been a short while. Monty is a happy go lucky little guy. Wherever Monty is, Rosie will follow.  Exactly what we had hoped for.  Rosie has hearing issues, and now, with Monty, Rosie is more aware of things happening, given how excited Monty becomes.  Both Monty and Rosie will be greeting us at the back door, as Monty hears the garage door opening, and the car pulling in.  Rosie is right there with him, giving their happy yelps of excitement, knowing you have returned home.  Monty loves his belly rubs!  He quickly turns himself over just waiting for you to rub his belly, often to fall asleep.  Monty is a beautiful sweet pug, and a joy to have around.   I'm very thankful for Monty.  He has brought life back into Rosie !
